Al-Nassr confirm signing of Cristiano Ronaldo as a free agent.

As the year ends the new era of Cristiano Ronaldo has appeared as per the report of Al-Nassr via a twitter post.
       The table top team of Saudi Arabian Pro League have announced the signing of Cristiano on a free transfer, following his premature exit from Manchester United.

Al Nassr Chairman Musalli Al-Muammar added: "This deal is more than just writing a new historical chapter. This player is a higher example for all athletes and youth in the world, and with his presence in Al-Nassr, we will move forward to achieve more success for the club, Saudi sports, and future generations."

 “I can’t wait to discover a new football league in a different country,” said the former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus player Cristiano.

“The vision with which Al Nassr operates is very inspiring, and I am delighted to join my teammates, so that together we can help the team achieve greater success,” he added.

The Deal:

 Cristiano Ronaldo on Friday signed for Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia, the club announced, in a deal believed to be worth more than 200 million euros.

The 37-year-old penned a contract which will take him to June 2025.



Next Match: 

 The 37-year-old will be unable to feature for his new side against Al-Khaleej having only signed a day earlier. He will undoubtedly be hoping to make his debut some time in January, though, with the club sure to confirm his first appearance nearer the time.
